What made you decide to write for Shooting the Script?
I use it as an excuse for not writing something a bit more substantial.

When you’re not watching movies or writing about movies,
how do you keep yourself occupied?
I make movies… sorta… I work for a small, indie production company, doing this and that. And, like most everyone else in Hollywood, I’m a fledgling screenwriter who really wants to direct. I’m also a dog-sitter extraordinaire. Also, I like to drink. One day, I hope to have a nice ranch of my own, where I can combine my interests in movies, dogs, and drinking… it’ll be like Skywalker Ranch meets Francis Ford Coppola Winery… but with a doggy day care… only no one is allowed to mention the Star Wars prequels or The Godfather III.

What movie(s) do you hate with a passion?
Crash, Scarface (1983), Batman & Robin, Van Helsing, Australia

Who are some of your favorite directors?
Woody Allen, Billy Wilder, Kevin Smith, Martin Scorsese, Steven Spielberg, Spike Lee, Clint Eastwood, Quentin Tarantino, The Coen Brothers, David Cronenberg, Ingmar Bergman, Howard Hawks, Sergio Leone, Jim Jarmusch, David Fincher, Christopher Nolan, Alfred Hitchcock, Mel Brooks, Lloyd Kaufman

(1986), The Thing, Pulp Fiction, Terror Firmer, The Jerk, High Fidelity, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Butch Cassidy & the Sundance Kid… I’m just gonna stop now, cause this could go on for a while.
