This is the final look back at 2012. I’ve already gone over my top ten movies, my top ten trailers, and my top 20 posters. Now I’m handing out my awards and nominations Academy Award style.

One of these years I’ll have my top ten list done before spring, but this is not that year. I put together another video for my list this year. So you can watch my list, read it, or both. As usual, I don’t include documentaries and I try to only include films theatrically released during the previous year. Enjoy!

Bryan’s 10 Most Anticipated Films – 2013

I like treks and robots fighting monsters and steel men as much as the next guy. But when it comes to making this list, I want to see other things a tad bit more. There’s a lot to look forward to but if you told me I could only see 10 new films this year, well the following would be my picks.

Top 10 Trailers – 2012

Honestly, not a great year for trailers. A lot of the big blockbusters phoned it in or continued to overuse what Inception started. Meanwhile, a lot of smaller films were trying so hard not to showcase their strangeness that the trailers pulled their punches. And a whole lot of trailers were just okay. No matter, I still found 10 I thought were best.

Top 20 Posters – 2012

This is my third year making this list, so maybe some of you have actually been looking forward to it. No? Well, I made it anyways.

The usual reminder, my top ten list won’t drop until much later as I try to be thorough. Also, this list is for 2012 films and the film quality is of no import. I’m just interested in something I’d be willing to hang on my wall. Onward! 

2012 Fall Preview: 16 That Got Away

It’s that time again. Time to publicly chime in on Bryan’s list of fall releases he can’t wait to see, and to remind him when the Autumnal Equinox and Winter Solstice fall–September 22nd and December 21st, respectively. It’s also time for me to offer my own list of fall releases I’m interested in seeing.

Top 10 Older Films Discovered in 2011

I like to feel like I’ve seen most of the movies on everyone else’s top ten lists before I compile mine. That being the case, my list is still not ready yet. So… since I’ve done posters and trailers already, I thought I’d offer up a different list. Here now, in alphabetical order, are the 10 best movies I saw last year that were not released last year. If you’ve seen them, great, but if you haven’t, fire up the queue and then tell me what you thought.
